Why are believers tested in difficult times? In this section, we examine the historical background of the period when Jesus Christ came to earth—the Roman occupation, the reign of Caesar Tiberius, the persecution under Governor Pilate, and the hardships endured by the people under Herod’s rule—in the light of the Holy Scriptures. The teaching of the Holy Scriptures is clear: "Everyone who belongs to Christ Jesus and wishes to live a life worthy of God will suffer persecution" (2 Timothy 3:12).

Are you truly free, or are you living in a state of bondage that you mistake for freedom? In this video, we explore—in the light of the Holy Bible—how true freedom begins not with external circumstances, but with the heart turning towards God. Prophet Elijah proclaimed that the Lord is the one true God in Israel, where idolatry prevailed.
