From the Brink of Despair to Infinite Divine Love
In this episode of One of Us, we share the testimony of Sister Talin...
Sister Talin grew up in an Armenian Catholic family, a wealthy but conflict-ridden home. Her father's indifference and family squabbles left her with a deep emptiness and lovelessness from childhood. Learning at an early age that money doesn't bring happiness, she was driven to loneliness, worthlessness, and despair, even to the point of contemplating suicide. At her lowest point, she discovered the Gospel prayer of repentance and wept to the Lord. In that moment, her life was transformed by the love of Jesus Christ; her heart was filled with joy, peace, and light. Previously angry, resentful, and unloving, she learned to love through the grace of the Lord. Now, despite the challenges in her life, strength, peace, and happiness come from Jesus. Her testimony shows us that only Christ, not money, can bring true salvation and fulfillment.
Let us witness together the miraculous touch of God as Sister Talin transitioned from contemplating death to a life filled with love.
Now, instead of that unloved child who filled the void within you, there is a child accepted and loved by God. And the life you lived can be a hope for many. Because, as your brother said, “I had money, but I had no peace. My Lord came and gave me peace.”
